El Tiante Cigars Promo | Tamiami Cigar Bar | Naples, Florida

And…. we are back after a long hiatus away. Here’s to more photos soon!

I had such a great time photographing a great client: Tiant Cigar Group. Daniel and I have been discussing this type of shoot for his family’s brand of cigars for a few months, but we couldn’t find the time to fit into his father’s schedule. We work around many clients’ schedules if there are certain circumstances: Daniel’s father is Luis Tiant, a former Red Sox championship pitcher and a very busy man. We made do and it worked out great! We chose Tamiami Cigar Bar for a different take on the typical cigar photos I have been known to do and Tamiami Cigar Bar blew me away! It’s absolutely a gem for photography. Danny, the bar owner was super accommodating. If you ever want a choice of 4 different VIP rooms – Tamiami Cigar Bar is your place!

We had to light in very small quarters, so we packed pretty small. Only using the Alien Bees for the chess game set, the rest were small lumopro LP 160 flashes, usually just using one. I really enjoy working with the Tiant Cigar Group and they make a pretty mean stick. If you are a cigar lover like myself and Kerry, you most definitely have to try El Tiante Cigars.

Thanksgiving Special | Bedrava-Robinson | It’s All About My Family

My best friend Ben and his family are literally my second family. I have known Ben since the summer before we were both seniors in high school; we met while we were both in college as dual-enrolled students. We literally spent our entire summer semester playing ping pong, eating fries with a ton of ketchup, and studying our butts off in Comp I. We graduated together but went to different universities, him graduating from Florida State University, and I from Florida Gulf Coast University. We have stayed close friends since and both my family and his have adopted us both. I was in Tallahassee when our sister Jennifer called Ben to tell him he was going to be an uncle – the first grandbaby/niece!! HOW FREAKING EXCITED could we both possibly be!?!? Well baby Jaina is currently going to be 7 months old and is totally a ham for the camera! I am totally going to be THAT AUNTIE.;)

Naples Home & Beach Family Session | Ferris Family

Jennifer had been referred to me by my mother, yes my mother! Jennifer was getting her nails done at my Aunt McKenzie’s Nail Salon and Spa, Pro Nails (239.403.9101) and talking about how she was so upset she was not going to have any good Christmas photos and my family encouraged her to contact me. I had already gone on my self-imposed vacation away from “work photography” when she called but there was no way, from the sound of her voice, that I was going to deny a family client holiday photos. I arrived at her home two days later and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, it was almost like walking onto a Christmas set! I just HAD to take advantage of the beautiful decor with her children. Her kids were such a blast!! Walking into their home Samantha, the littlest came right up to me and gave me a big hug! I couldn’t resist, they are just WAY TOO CUTE. Such a beautiful family!!

Naples Beach Family Session | Reidel Family

I met Korie while I was waiting for my best friend to finish getting his hair done by Sir Daniel of Salon Tease (shameless plug for them, I have been going to these two since I was 16! Well before I was a photographer.) She had just gotten her and her daughter’s hair done when we touched upon the subject of Burn by Rocky Patel and the fact that I had photographed for Rocky Patel and his cigar lounge earlier in the year. She was excited to find out that I was a photographer, because she was looking for a good one for her holiday photos. I’m so glad they decided on me!
