Cody and Tiffany are the funniest couple you’ll ever meet, and their daughter, Haley, is a HOOT! We met last year as wedding vendors (both of us are wedding photographers) and have become fast friends ever since!

Cody and Tiff chose this amazing location… I didn’t even know where we were going! It’s actually one of their favorite places and the sunset was just BEAU-TI-FUL!

Hales received her first lollipop for great cooperation and it was so much fun capturing the joy and love of this little family.

Fort Myers Beach – Bowditch Beach | Family Session

Had a WONDERFUL time spending it with The Daileys, Gibsons, and Seiferts at Bowditch Beach. All of them converging to Fort Myers to spend a weekend together from all over the US, and one from Canada!

So full of fun and laughter, the four boys were such a hoot and total hams for the camera. Kerry and I felt so blessed to be able to spend a gorgeous Florida sunset with this family. Thank you for trusting us with your portraits!

I received a beautiful e-mail from Rusty Seifert after he received his images. These make me SO happy!

Estero Carnival Family Mini Session | Gentry Thomas

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

After months of trying to schedule a good time to shoot with Gentry, we had one free weekend to do a quick family mini session for him. This is the first part of his two part promo/family shoot. Our next scheduled date for photos is December 1st – so stay tuned for those images!!

There was a carnival in Estero, Florida this past weekend and it seemed like a wonderful idea to do a mini session there, and what FUN! It was super awesome seeing his two children again this year, and they have grown! I’m excited to see them again next weekend.

Soooo… here we go as in a bit I’ll be off to play hostess to our families for our first Thanksgiving in our home.

I had such a great time at the carnival having fun with the kids. I hope you enjoyed these!

Thanksgiving Special | Bedrava-Robinson | It’s All About My Family

My best friend Ben and his family are literally my second family. I have known Ben since the summer before we were both seniors in high school; we met while we were both in college as dual-enrolled students. We literally spent our entire summer semester playing ping pong, eating fries with a ton of ketchup, and studying our butts off in Comp I. We graduated together but went to different universities, him graduating from Florida State University, and I from Florida Gulf Coast University. We have stayed close friends since and both my family and his have adopted us both. I was in Tallahassee when our sister Jennifer called Ben to tell him he was going to be an uncle – the first grandbaby/niece!! HOW FREAKING EXCITED could we both possibly be!?!? Well baby Jaina is currently going to be 7 months old and is totally a ham for the camera! I am totally going to be THAT AUNTIE.

Naples Home & Beach Family Session | Ferris Family

Jennifer had been referred to me by my mother, yes my mother! Jennifer was getting her nails done at my Aunt McKenzie’s Nail Salon and Spa, Pro Nails (239.403.9101) and talking about how she was so upset she was not going to have any good Christmas photos and my family encouraged her to contact me. I had already gone on my self-imposed vacation away from “work photography” when she called but there was no way, from the sound of her voice, that I was going to deny a family client holiday photos. I arrived at her home two days later and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, it was almost like walking onto a Christmas set! I just HAD to take advantage of the beautiful decor with her children. Her kids were such a blast!! Walking into their home Samantha, the littlest came right up to me and gave me a big hug! I couldn’t resist, they are just WAY TOO CUTE. Such a beautiful family!!

I met Korie while I was waiting for my best friend to finish getting his hair done by Sir Daniel of Salon Tease (shameless plug for them, I have been going to these two since I was 16! Well before I was a photographer.) She had just gotten her and her daughter’s hair done when we touched upon the subject of Burn by Rocky Patel and the fact that I had photographed for Rocky Patel and his cigar lounge earlier in the year. She was excited to find out that I was a photographer, because she was looking for a good one for her holiday photos. I’m so glad they decided on me!

Koreshan State Park | Jessica Anders | Bohemian Maternity Shoot

Jessica is a modelmayhem.com model (MM#1310085) who contacted me with an idea for a TF (time for) shoot I would probably not get a chance again to shoot: she was pregnant. I do very little maternity shoots, and when I do, most mommies-to-be don’t dare go as far as what I wanted Jessica to do. It’s very refreshing having someone so open to running with a great vibe and idea. I’m going to try and get my new mommies-to-be to be a bit more adventurous so we can get some beautiful images that will be uniquely theirs. I have been shooting at Koreshan State Park a lot lately, so each time I go there I have to make the images different, meaning if I am at a particular location often, I never take the same images for each new session. I’ll work with what I have, but each session should always be unique to each of my clients. I had a great time with Jessica, shooting with just a very basic kit, my camera and a 35mm f/1.8 (for you gear heads). I think we made some killer images with the sun being our awesome backlight and hair light! More photos after the jump!

Wiggins Pass State Park | Harris Family Christmas Shoot & Maggie Ann turns 2!

I have known Jessica since I was 16 and in high school, she was one of the leaders of the book club I joined and I later met Kurt a few years later when I started my new position at Collier County – I never put two and two together and that they were married until months after I met Kurt! (This was when MySpace was still popular). A few years after they were married they had a beautiful baby girl and I was honored to be the one to document her first year. It’s still so strange to me walking into a friend/client’s home and seeing MY images on THEIR walls along side other wonderful snapshots of their daily lives. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Maggie Ann turned two yesterday, and my has she grown so big!! Such a sweet girl. We had so much fun playing in the sand and watering plants all morning at a new location I never shot at before: Delnor Wiggins Pass State Park. I’m surprised it was pretty busy for being 8AM! Enjoy how sweet this family is after the jump!

Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club Beach Access | The Engler Family

I have reschedule the Englers 5 times in the past two months because of weather, Lindsey and I were starting to think we’ll NEVER have a good weather photo day – then I rescheduled her for the 6th time – this time moving her session up to a Thursday, and lo and behold – it was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! YAY!! The Englers are returning clients, and they love their images, even if each and every time -but this session – the weather had not cooperated. It was like out of a story book: it would be either too cold, too windy, too rainy, or way too hot. Thursday was “just right” for some fun family photos. Enjoy!

We had a blast talking ghost stories and picking the houses to take photos by at Koreshan Historic State Park in Estero, Florida.
