Koreshan Historic State Park | Rock Gothic with Heather & Chris

Heather is one of the most creative, stylish, and hard working individuals I know. She totally rocks AND has a super talented musically inclined boyfriend, Chris Moll of the Lovers Key and The PostMarks. Two of the sweetest, genuine and supportive people I know. I am so blessed to call these two friends.

SERIOUS talent from Chris and Maco. Think the Noisettes – whom I’m totally obsessed with. When I heard the mastered version of “Who’s the One You Love” I was HOOKED. SERIOUSLY HOOKED. Featured on Grace Ormonde | Italia Style Vow Renewal | Cody & Tiffany

Cody and Tiffany are a wonderfully sweet and fun couple with a cute as a button daughter, Haley. They are also some of my favorite wedding photography friends that I met just last year. Cody and Tiffany are Hunter Ryan Photo! AND…… They JUST celebrated their 7 year wedding anniversary. So to celebrate, I teamed up with them, Kehrin at Jet Set Wed, Janea of JA Make-up Artistry, Hilary at Tie the Knot Couture, Debra at DM Paper Designs, Ben at Spirits of Bacchus, the ladies at Isn’t She Lovely Florals, Lush bakery, and my other fun photographer friend, Nikki at Nikki MayDay Photography! (Matt over at YoDisMatt Photography and Design did part of the shoot for my promo video… shhhh!)

Film Noir “A Walk Downtown” | Hannah & Travis

My muse (the nagging voice inside my head) would not let me be until I did a shoot inspired by the film noir movies in the 1940′s-1950′s. I have been plagued for MONTHS. And really? It’s one of my favorite genres of film. Maybe I’m a bit dark, but I love drama and emotion, and to be able to portray that in my work is something I strive for everyday. I think it took months because I haven’t found the right couple. Each styled session I shoot is tailored specifically to the individual couples. So when I met Hannah while teaching a modeling workshop for FGCU students at Koreshan State Park, and found out she had a long-time boyfriend, Travis – it just clicked. Travis and Hannah have been together since sophomore year in high school and met at a church camping retreat. Aww!

A Walk Downtown is about two people who met one night, spend all evening together, and depart – never to see each other again. I hope you enjoy!

The Club at the Strand Wedding | Matt & Sam

We’re ringing in 2013 with a fun-loving-awesomely-amazing-super-duper-totally-cool wedding I shot in November. This wedding was so full of moments I am still so thankful to be a part of – to make my own memories and share them with Matt, Sam and their friends and family.

Matt & Sam celebrated with their family and close friends at the Club at the Strand in Naples, Florida. Sam looked SO gorgeous thanks to Ncolor, her flowers were colorful and bright – courtesy of Naples Flowers, and she chose the yummy Sassy Cakes for delicious cupcakes!

Their love for each other and for their friends and family is so visible you could probably cut it with a knife, and the day was just choke full of tear-jerking moments.

Each wedding is special to me. Chasing moments, making memories, and creating exceptional portraiture is what fuels me all day long. I’ve had people ask me how I can maintain the same level of energy through an 8+hour day.

Because I LOVE THIS, and when you love doing what you do – it shows in your craft.

That’s what Sam saw when after the inquiry she said, “I just knew you were the one.”

This is the first wedding I cried re-living the tender moments and fun memories while I edited. That’s when I realized that each and every wedding memory I ever photograph will forever be shared with the couple and their families – because I was so honored to be given access to one of the most intimate days of anyone’s life. These opportunities are very special, because no one else will ever experience the same memories again.

That is the beauty of weddings for me. It is a gift and an honor to be chosen to photograph someone’s wedding, and Sam and Matt’s was extra special. Congratulations again Matt and Sam!
