Koreshan Historic State Park | Creme de la Crown

I have a wonderful friend who started making these gorgeous bohemian head pieces, bracelets and necklaces, all of semi-precious stones and precious metals not to long ago and it has become Creme De La Crown! When I saw these pieces I just about wanted ALL OF THEM. They are super cute and so versatile. We had a great time running through the fields of Koreshan State Park and dodging the rain AND bees! All in all we had a wonderful and the photos really show it.

I would definitely check out Creme de la Crown and take a look at some of her amazing designs. Otherwise… Enjoy!

Buckingham Family Session | Cody, Tiffany & Haley

Cody and Tiffany are the funniest couple you’ll ever meet, and their daughter, Haley, is a HOOT! We met last year as wedding vendors (both of us are wedding photographers) and have become fast friends ever since!

Cody and Tiff chose this amazing location… I didn’t even know where we were going! It’s actually one of their favorite places and the sunset was just BEAU-TI-FUL!

Hales received her first lollipop for great cooperation and it was so much fun capturing the joy and love of this little family.

Naples Beach Wedding | Waldorf Astoria | Steve & Lindsey

It was a complete pleasure and honor to be a part of Steve and Lindsey’s wedding day. It was a small (just their child and their parents) intimate wedding on the sandy beaches of Clam Pass more than one thousand miles away from home. It was a wondrous break from the coming cold, and an absolutely GORGEOUS day for a wedding. Kerry and I felt so blessed to be a part of this couple’s lives. From the Big Lewboski jokes, to thoughts of becoming ordained ministers, to bearing witness to a seriously “meant to be” moment, to playing board games with drinks the day after before they went home – I loved it all and could not have been happier for two people who are full of love, commitment and friendship. We are so lucky that we all became fast friends that day.

Naples Home & Beach Family Session | Ferris Family

Jennifer had been referred to me by my mother, yes my mother! Jennifer was getting her nails done at my Aunt McKenzie’s Nail Salon and Spa, Pro Nails (239.403.9101) and talking about how she was so upset she was not going to have any good Christmas photos and my family encouraged her to contact me. I had already gone on my self-imposed vacation away from “work photography” when she called but there was no way, from the sound of her voice, that I was going to deny a family client holiday photos. I arrived at her home two days later and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, it was almost like walking onto a Christmas set! I just HAD to take advantage of the beautiful decor with her children. Her kids were such a blast!! Walking into their home Samantha, the littlest came right up to me and gave me a big hug! I couldn’t resist, they are just WAY TOO CUTE. Such a beautiful family!!

Naples Beach Family Session | Reidel Family

I met Korie while I was waiting for my best friend to finish getting his hair done by Sir Daniel of Salon Tease (shameless plug for them, I have been going to these two since I was 16! Well before I was a photographer.) She had just gotten her and her daughter’s hair done when we touched upon the subject of Burn by Rocky Patel and the fact that I had photographed for Rocky Patel and his cigar lounge earlier in the year. She was excited to find out that I was a photographer, because she was looking for a good one for her holiday photos. I’m so glad they decided on me!

Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club | The Engler Family

I have reschedule the Englers 5 times in the past two months because of weather, Lindsey and I were starting to think we’ll NEVER have a good weather photo day – then I rescheduled her for the 6th time – this time moving her session up to a Thursday, and lo and behold – it was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! YAY!! The Englers are returning clients, and they love their images, even if each and every time -but this session – the weather had not cooperated. It was like out of a story book: it would be either too cold, too windy, too rainy, or way too hot. Thursday was “just right” for some fun family photos. Enjoy!

Naples Florida Beach Wedding | Marc & Erin

When I first spoke to Erin on the phone, the first thing I remember her asking was, “Are you pregnant or plan to be pregnant around October 22, this year?”, taken by surprise, I giggled and said, “I hope not!”. Erin and Marc had been a referral from Marc’s brother, a great friend of mine and one hell of a dancer! Turns out most of the photographers that Erin spoke to in the area were getting pregnant or who were pregnant and could not guarantee that they would be able to shoot her wedding. I am so glad Marc and Erin decided on us to help share in the festivities!

Not only did Marc and Erin both encouraged us to partake in the festivities – who says I won’t fist pump it out with some Italians from Jersey? – they and their families were just all around fun and awesome people. DJ Gil Blake kept the music coming all night long and it was so far one of the most memorable weddings I have ever attended, let alone photographed. I freaking love my job.

Thank you Marc and Erin for such a beautiful, fun, and love-filled day!! Congratulations and best wishes for you both!!
